First I want to give a shout out to my girl Sal from England…she is one of my new pen pals and she mailed me this fabulous print of a painting she has done…Sal aspires to be a children's book illustrator and I think she has the chops to make it…go check out her website to see more of her beautiful work…

This morning I made it to Sunday School but not to regular Church…I was too tired…and I am sad because mom came home with a gift for me from this beautiful little one…and I wish she could have given it to me herself…
can you believe she made me this all by herself? it is a beautiful cardinal stuffie and she did an amazing job on it! I’m so blessed…and just happened to have a cardinal card I could send her as a thank you with a cardinal sticker on the envelope…I hope she will love getting mail as much as I do…
See the empty bird feeder in the background? These birds are chowing down there were five trying to eat at the same time today…don’t worry…since then I have filled it to the brim and overflowing…

I am sitting her enjoying the smell of watermelon…and the dog is enjoying gnawing on some of the rind…good times in the summer!
