Grace and peace be upon all you women who love the Lord! I have been reading through Philippians and wanted to post about it. Don't you just love the way Paul begins his letters with a greeting? He begins with blessings and encouragements and gives a brief update. Then he throws in a teaching followed by a warning. He always is a great closer too. I love the way Paul's letters leave me feeling so empowered to just joyfully press on.
That is what I want to be able to do for others as well as myself through this blog. I usually don't write unless I feel like God is helping me. I know it's God who helps me because my thoughts don't contradict the Bible and I am sharing in the spirit of love. I think God will continue to help me write as I stay in harmony with my home responsibilities. I'll tell ya, my thoughts are too cluttered to write anything worth while when my home life is not in order. Praise God! It's His way of keeping me in check.
I had a good week. My mom, step dad, and younger sister were over visiting. I got to act like I was twelve years old again with my younger sister. She always brings out my silliness. My daughters love to see me like that. I have to be careful not to get too silly because then my daughter's will start acting like that and they won't know when to quit. That's a scary thought...ha ha.
Well, we're getting our daughters ready to start the new school year. They are getting new clothes tonight so they are excited. My oldest will be in second grade and my middle daughter is excited to start kindergarten. My youngest still has two and a half more years to learn stuff with me and daddy. Don't worry though. I am continuing to give them a firm foundation through Jesus Christ and instilling on them a biblical world view. I do pray one day real soon hubby will let us be they're exclusive teachers but until then, I'm making the best of it and they'll get through it with lots of faith, communication, help, encouragement, and involvement. Prayer is key.
May the only wise God grant you His wisdom for every part of your life.
