After Bible Study today I was finally able to go to the thrift store and drop off all of the things I had accumulated for them. While there I, of course, just ‘looked’ around.

I found a few things I wanted. One was a really cute skirt for .75 if I don’t like how it fits the fabric will be good for something down the line. This plate is my favorite find. The colors work with the living room and for some reason I am just into birds lately.

Here is our house.

Saturday some peoples are coming over to help demolish gently remove what is left of our roof. Its in sad shape and we are very excited to be getting a new one starting next Monday.

Now on to the most important reveal.

This morning I painted my dresser with the free pint of Glidden paint I got in the mail on Saturday.

I had a hard time putting everything back because I wanted to change things up a bit…after a long time almost everything ended up in the same place, but I am happy with it.

see that bird? Amanda got me the coolest repositionable wall stickers for my birthday, this bird is my favorite. I am still trying to figure out where I want to put the others.

One of the changes was that at the thrift store I got this shelf for .10 and decided to put it up to hold my jewelry girls.

See the blue bird with the pink tails? I painted it blue to better match the room…I think I like it but with it being repositionable I’m ok with trying stuff out.
